Television crews and radio personalities are there each year to share report on the days festivities. For over 10 years, people have been coming together in their best bounce-back attitudes for a charitable cause.  This year is no different!  Four-member teams from local companies and organizations will compete to finish an obstacle course with the fastest time.  Racers will be climbing, crawling, sliding and jumping their way through this one-of-a-kind relay race. We are so happy to offer the genuine support our members offer to each other every day.

We strive to answer questions, listen to each other’s venting, and of course celebrate each other’s successes that occur on their the road to recovery.

During stroke recovery, support is everything.

We started this group so you can get that support from others who are in the same situation as you. We have members from every stage on the recovery journey. This gives you the ability to connect with others right where you are and those who have been there and can support you through their experiences – and that is even better.

It’s fantastic that technology allows us to connect with others who are in walks along the recovery journey. At times during recovery it can be difficult to make it to local support meetings and our mission is to work to make sure everyone has access to the support and resources they need.

Common questions that get asked are, “Should it be taking this long to regain back what I lost in the stroke?” Or, “How did you get through this time of recovery?” Or, “Here’s my story.” And our members have always met request for support with a warm welcome.
