Did you know that we have a stroke support group on Facebook that you can join for free?

We are so happy to offer the genuine support our members offer to each other every day.

We strive to answer questions, listen to each other’s venting, and of course celebrate each other’s successes that occur on their the road to recovery.

If you’d like to join the conversation, click here to join the survivors support group.

Support Is Everything

During stroke recovery, support is everything.

If you’d like to join the conversation, click here to join the caregivers support group.

We started this group so you can get that support from others who are in the same situation as you. We have members from every stage on the recovery journey. This gives you the ability to connect with others right where you are and those who have been there and can support you through their experiences – and that is even better.

It’s fantastic that technology allows us to connect with others who are in different phases of the recovery journey. At times it can be difficult to make it to local support meetings and our goal is to make sure everyone has access to the support and resources they need.

Face-to-face support groups in Kentuckiana can be found below, along with some online Zoom meetings

You Are Not Alone

Support groups are a great place to be heard, vent, and ask for advice.

Common questions asked are, “Should it be taking this long to regain back what I lost from the stroke?” Or “How did you get through this time of recovery?” Or “Here’s my story.” And our members have always met requests for support with a warm welcome.

Join us in our quest to serve others! Facebook groups are free to join.

All you have to do is head over to the group, click the “Join Group” button, and we will approve your request as soon as we can!
